  7. This CD ROM is designed to run on Archimedes and RISC PC computers which
  8. have at least 4 megabytes of memory and a CD ROM drive. For instructions on 
  9. how to install and run this program, please consult the booklet provided with
  10. this disc.

  12. Users are allowed to extract graphics from this disc to use in
  13. their own work so long as it is not sold for gain or used outside the     
  14. purchasing school. The sound samples must NOT be extracted from this CD ROM
  15. or run from any other medium unless you have the necessary site licence. Full 
  16. details of copyright are given on the printed booklet supplied with the disc.

  19. ON-LINE SUPPORT

  21. Anglia Multimedia's On-Line services provide all disc users with extra 
  22. learning materials linked to its discs. This is available on the World Wide 
  23. Web at http://www.anglia.co.uk. A more comprehensive learning service is
  24. provided by Education Anglia, to be found on AOL UK (America On-Line). Log
  25. on to your AOL site and use the keyword facility and the word ANGLIA for
  26. quick access.

  29. SAVE STATUS MULTIUSER/MULTIPLATFORM APPLICATIONS
  30.  
  31. For details of the use of the save status and resume feature, please
  32. consult the booklet provided with this disc.

  34. By default the program saves a file named RESUME.KAS within the Extras
  35. folder. (Assuming that the Extras folder is called '!MOVE+', the
  36. file resides at '!MOVE+.Scripts.Status0.Resume'). This file is
  37. automatically reloaded if the user chooses to 'Resume from Previous
  38. Session' when re-running the disc.

  40. The Resume file and other status files located within the 
  41. '!MOVE+.Scripts.Status' directory are listed in the 'Load Status' menu. 
  42. Status files from elsewhere are loaded by dragging them onto the program's 
  43. main window.

  45. When used in a classroom environment, it may be preferable to instruct
  46. each user to save their own individually named status file before leaving 
  47. the disc. By saving an individual status file each user can return to 
  48. their previous session by explicitly loading their status file. Status 
  49. files may be saved within the default directory on the system hard disc
  50. or to a floppy disk.

  52. Status files are cross-platform. If you also have the Windows MPC version
  53. of this disc you can interchange status files between computers as follows:

  55. MPC to Acorn:
  56.  
  57. 1. Run this CD ROM on your MPC.
  58.  
  59. 2. Save your current status to an MSDOS format floppy disc.
  60.    
  61. 3. Remove the .KAS extension from the status file or save it as an Acorn
  62.    status file (selected from the 'Save file as Type: menu'). 
  63.    
  64. 4. Run the Acorn version of the CD ROM on an Acorn RISCOS computer. 
  65.    Drag the status file from the MSDOS floppy disc onto the program's 
  66.    main window.

  68. 5. The Acorn disc should return to the same place and with the same 
  69.    status as the MPC version you were running.

  71. Acorn to MPC:

  73. 1. Run the Acorn version of the CD ROM on an Acorn RISCOS computer.

  75. 2. Save your status to an MSDOS format floppy disc.
  76.  
  77. 3. Run this CDROM on your MPC.

  79. 4. Load the status file from the DOS format floppy disc (select 
  80.    'Acorn Status File in the 'List files of Type:' Menu).

  82. 5. The MPC should return to the same place with the same status 
  83.    as the Acorn version you were running.
